The Quick Disc 3 is Cannondale's fitness hybrid — a bike for covering ground on tarmac quickly and comfortably, with enough tyre and enough brake to handle a rough patch of road or a gravel shortcut without complaint.
The SmartForm C3 alloy frame is paired with a full carbon rigid fork, which takes a surprising amount of buzz out of the front end and keeps the overall weight down. Geometry is upright enough for a relaxed commute but still stretched out enough to ride quickly, and the Intellimount stem keeps the cockpit clean.
Shimano handles the gears with a 9-speed Altus rear and Acera front derailleur across a 48/32 crank, giving a wide enough spread for both flat-out riding and climbing with a loaded pannier. Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic discs mean consistent braking in the wet, and 700x35c tyres strike the balance between rolling speed and comfort.
A good fit for daily commuting, fitness riding and light unpaved paths.
