The Quick Disc 4 sits in the middle of Cannondale's fitness hybrid range and makes one significant change over the bikes below it — it drops the front derailleur entirely in favour of a single 38T chainring and a wide-range 9-speed microSHIFT Advent cassette.
In practice that means one shifter, one lever, and no chance of dropping a chain between rings mid-commute. The range is still wide enough for city hills, and there is simply less to adjust, clean and replace over the life of the bike.
The alloy frame and rigid fork keep weight down and handling quick, with a position that is upright enough to see traffic properly but still efficient to pedal. Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong, consistent stopping in monsoon conditions — a meaningful upgrade over the mechanical brakes usually found at this level.
Rolling on 700x35c tyres, it handles broken tarmac, speed breakers and the occasional gravel stretch without drama. A practical choice for commuting and fitness riding.
