The clutch keeps the chain quiet and stops it bouncing off over rough ground; the narrow-wide ring does the same job from the front. Tektro M280 hydraulic discs with a 180mm front rotor give serious stopping power.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWheels are Marin's own double-wall alloy with a 25mm inner width, wrapped in 2.4in tubeless-compatible Delium tyres — wide enough to run low pressures for grip.
